We chose to play Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved" because when Patricia (his mom) and Chris were driving back and forth to Cedars Academy, this song would come on constantly. They made it a point to sing the chorus horribly off-key (not that Chris could do anything but!) so it reminded the family of good times. The lyrics are also appropriate in that he will still be loved and it's so hard to say goodbye.
We chose Rand Vanwarmer's "Just When I Needed You Most" because of the lyrics.
Memories were shared from Diego Zablah, George Kracke, his brother Parker, his brother-in-law Matt and his sister Sara. Sally Woodhall, former head of The Woodhall School, delivered the eulogy.
We were so touched by the number of people that came to the service, that have written, called and emailed us to say that Chris touched their lives.
